I have just read that ownership of Ceramics – Art and Perception and Ceramics Technical has changed hands from Janet Mansfield to Elaine O Henry.

Both great publications which Janet has built up over the last 19 years. The quality, depth and interest of the Articles is excellent and I am sure many will join with me in thanking Janet for so much dedication and hard work over the last 19 years.

Janet says “I wanted to give ceramic artists and everyone associated with ceramics a magazine that would be relevant, positive about the future, a serious resource for International Ceramics and to be uncompromising in its quality ” – it has been all of that. Thank you Janet and your whole team…

The good news is that I am quite sure that Elaine Henry will carry on the good work and that both magazines will continue to educate and delight all those with an interest in Contemporary Ceramics.
