Bluecoat Display Centre presents Rituals at Bluecoat Display Centre 9th March to 27th April, 2019 A mixed media exhibition that will explore the idea of craft objects making our everyday Ďrituals' such as drinking tea or coffee into a ceremony of sorts.

Students will learn about preparing clay and different techniques of ceramics from pinch pots and coiled pottery, to slab building and throwing. Students are also guided on aspects of decoration and glazing. 
Lindy Barletta weekday Courses in East Sheen - 1st January to 31st December, 2018
Studio Pottery Making techniques: A terms course covers a project in each - pinching, coiling, slab building and throwing.

News from Fran Tristram at Seymour Road Studios: Here is the latest news on our forthcoming ONE DAY WORKSHOPS for the rest of 2018 Рyou will find more information by clicking through the web links below.

  • 30 June / 1 July:
    NEW - 
    @ 2pm, 3.15 pm and 4.30
    Garden Themed Quick Makes in conjunction with Lady Bay Open Gardens.  Garden visitors always admire the terracotta so this year, for the first time, we are offering a rolling programme of one hour workshops throughout each afternoon.
  • 14 / 15 July:¬†
    Terracotta for the Garden¬†fully led workshops with me, Fran Tristram ‚Äď including our ever popular thumb pot Cane Toppers!
  • 29 / 30 September:
    Slip Decoration techniques¬†with guest potter and slip decoration supremo Mark Dally who will provide all the tiles and pots that you will need for your session, so don‚Äôt be anxious ‚Äď it promises to be a great workshop, suitable for all levels.
  • 10/11 November:¬†Making Angels and other festive fun¬†with me, Fran Tristram (awaiting detailed webpage and images, so no click through link yet¬†‚Äď in the meantime, don’t hesitate to let me know¬†if you have any questions or wish to reserve your place).
