Saturday 6th August
Throwing & hand building
The day will be a fun introduction to throwing on the wheel and to hand building techniques.

One session offered
AM- 10.00-1.00  £45.00
The session will involve 1.5 hrs taught throwing time aimed at beginners with Libby Ballard
& 1.5 hrs hand building time taught by Sarah Purvey
The session costs include teaching, materials and firings

Saturday 13th August
Coiling Workshop

One session offered

AM- 10.00-1.00 £45.00
We will build forms from coils of clay and decorate them with coloured slips. The finished pieces will be finished with transparent glaze – the workshop will suit beginners with clay.

The workshop will be taught by Sarah Purvey x6 places available

Saturday 27th August
Slab building workshop
One session offered

AM- 10-1.00 £45.00
We will build surface pattern onto flat sheets of clay before transforming them into slab built cylinder vases, candle stick forms or decorative jugs, all will be decorated with coloured slips and finished with transparent glaze.
The session includes all teaching, materials and firings
Session taught by Sarah Purvey x6 places available.

Terracotta clay coiling workshop

One session offered

AM- 10.00-1.00 £45.00
We will build jug forms from coils of clay and decorate the surfaces with additions of clay and paint them with coloured slips. The finished pieces will be finished with transparent glaze – the workshop will suit beginners and improvers with clay.
The session costs include teaching, materials and firings
The workshop will be taught by Sarah Purvey x6 places available

Tuesday 6th September 
At Pound Arts Centre, Corsham
Six week evening class 7-9pm starting Tuesday 6th September
A six week programme of handbuilding skills
