Students will learn about preparing clay and different techniques of ceramics from pinch pots and coiled pottery, to slab building and throwing. Students are also guided on aspects of decoration and glazing.

Wobage Pottery Summer news 2018: Courses still available!

From the Wobage Newsletter “ The Wobage canopy is up in the Pottery courtyard and our season of Summer pottery intensives begin at the end of June. Whilst some are already full, we do still have some availability for our Improvers and Beginners courses in June and July. Whether you are an absolute beginner, or an accomplished, experienced maker, there are courses suitable for all, and it’s not too late to book! During the Wheel-throwing Improvers workshops, Jeremy will focus first upon spherical form and lid-making; teapots and jar-making, 3-6th July. Then upon upright form including Jug-making, 26-29th July. You’ll find further details including booking information on our website.
