John Evans - Original Alternative Raku Workshop - Sussex - 22nd - 25th May 2015
The 'Original' workshop course will include the use of burnishing and terra sigillata to provide the smooth and polished surface ideal for these 'naked clay' techniques. There will be tips on how to make work for successful firing, how to achieve those solid blacks and whites and the use of colour in naked raku.

Margaret Curtis – Gallery St. Ives Tokyo; December 2011 (Chawan exhibition)

Margaret Curtis has accepted an invitation to include six of her teabowls in an exhibition dedicated to Chawans in Japan. The exhibition will take place at Gallery St Ives, Tokyo in December.  Margaret, who was recently invited to become a fellow of the CPA, will show her work alongside around ten other potters from Japan and the UK. Update: The other potters taking part in this show will be:
