Regular Pottery Courses by Suleyman Saba - 29th January to 31st December, 2018
Students will learn about preparing clay and different techniques of ceramics from pinch pots and coiled pottery, to slab building and throwing. Students are also guided on aspects of decoration and glazing. 
Lindy Barletta weekday Courses in East Sheen - 1st January to 31st December, 2018
Studio Pottery Making techniques: A terms course covers a project in each - pinching, coiling, slab building and throwing.

NOW OPEN: St Ives Rotary Club Travel Bursary for Potters from Cornwall 2017

Deadline for applications: 10 November 2017: Application Form

This is the first year the Leach Pottery and the St Ives Rotary Club are accepting applications from Potters in Cornwall to apply for a Travel Grant to help with their professional development.

Over £2,000 was raised in the Prize Draw & Exhibition and this will be added to £1000 that the St Ives Rotary Club has already given to start the ball rolling. We are hoping to make enough annually to sustain the travel grant year on year.

The Call will opened on 22 September 2017 and closes on the 10 November 2017, the potter will be selected at the end of November.
