Muchelney Pottery at Fifty (1965 – 2015)

John, Lizzie and all the crew warmly invite you to celebrate Muchelney Pottery’s 50th anniversary exhibition. Open until 3 November 2015, this is an opportunity to grab if you can get to Somerset!

The gallery will showcase the catalogue range of kitchenware pots which has evolved since the Pottery began in 1965, along with the latest signed work by John Leach, Nick Rees and Mark Melbourne. There will also be a collection of wood engraved prints by Harry Brockway who has been documenting working life at Muchelney Pottery.

As well as the gallery, they are opening the doors to the rest of the Pottery. The potters will be available to show you around the kiln shed and there will be demonstrations in the workshop (between 10-1 and 2-4).

“John and Lizzie would like to thank all our customers who over the last 50 years have supported us through thick and thin. It is this continued support and interest in our work which has enabled us to make a living doing what we love”  John and Lizzie
