John Evans - Original Alternative Raku Workshop - Sussex - 27th - 30th May 2016
The 'Original' workshop course will include the use of burnishing and terra sigillata to provide the smooth and polished surface ideal for these 'naked clay' techniques. There will be tips on how to make work for successful firing, how to achieve those solid blacks and whites and the use of colour in naked raku. FULL

Working from the Sussex chalk landscape surrounding West Dean, use drawing to develop designs for simple slab built ceramic platters and wall pieces.

Eddie Curtis – New Website in ‘Easily Top Ten’

Eddie tells me that his new website www.eddiecurtis.com is winning plaudits from its ISP. Easily take many aspects of web design into consideration, including content, ease of use and the design itself.  Eddie’s website was created by London based web designer Dominic Wilcox , a graduate of the Royal College of Art, who has successfully combined sophisticated design with the exacting technical demands of a user friendly website.  It is a site worth visiting – well done Eddie, its an enjoyable experience to visit.
