International Ceramics Festival – Aberystwyth 3-5 July 2009

Well, time flies, I have just seen that the ICF tickets go on sale in a couple of weeks – 1 November to be precise. For my money, this is a really GREAT festival to go to. There is just so much to see and to learn! We already have brief details on the site, but there will be more… Guest demonstrators at present include Sandy Brown, Jack Doherty, Jeff Shapiro, Jean Nicolas Gerard, Regina Heinz, Shozo Michikawa and Don Reitz. With firings by Tom Barnett, Peter Hayes and Nina Hole

Studiopottery.co.uk will be sponsoring the student award for the third time – yes we are getting quite long in the tooth! We were in fact launched in April 2000!

The tickets aren’t cheap but they are VERY good value at £120 or £90 for students for the whole Festival or £70 for Saturday , £60 on Sunday.

Mention our name when you call to book your tickets – and you WON’T get a discount, but we will appreciate it! BUT DO BOOK EARLY as the tickets disappear very quickly!!

Look at the event listing on our site – or just phone them on 01970-623232 or go through the website www.internationalceramicsfestival.org

I hope to see some of you there next July:)
