John Leach in the Somerset Levels – time for a visit?

blogjohnleach1

I visited John some weeks ago and can report that the flood problems of last Winter are a thing of the past and what John and other businesses in the Somerset Levels really need now is plenty of visitors. It is a delightful area to visit. john’s Gallery and Pottery, if you haven’t been, or not for a while, are a treat. His pots for food and informal eating are excellent and there is always individual work available as well John, Nick Rees and Mark Melbourne. Once you have been there, try visiting the Cider Farm ¬†and the Smoke House. We brought away some excellent cider and had an enjoyable lunch including home smoked eel at the Brown and Forrest Smokery. ¬†So if you can manage a trip to see John I am pretty sure you will enjoy it! ¬†The shop and gallery are open Monday to Saturday ¬†9-1 and 2-5.¬†A few pictures below :-)
