Students will learn about preparing clay and different techniques of ceramics from pinch pots and coiled pottery, to slab building and throwing. Students are also guided on aspects of decoration and glazing.

Studio Pottery Making techniques: A terms course covers a project in each - pinching, coiling, slab building and throwing.

Studio potter Suleyman Saba has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad and is renowned for his skill as a thrower. He teaches a wide range of ceramic techniques to students in Kingsbury, north-west London. Students will learn about preparing clay and different techniques of ceramics from pinch pots and coiled pottery, to slab building and throwing. Students are also guided on aspects of decoration and glazing. Come and learn in a friendly environment, where all levels of ability are catered for.
Class type:
Mixed ability class, one morning/afternoon per week for 10 week term
Mornings of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (10am – 1pm)
Afternoons of Monday and Thursday afternoons (1.45pm – 4.15pm)
