Seth Cardew (1934 – 2016)

I have just seen (Wendy Blackburne posted in British Studio Pottery Collectors.) the sad news that Seth Cardew passed away last night. Wendy says:

“I have been asked to pass on very sad news from Ara and the Cardew Family. Seth passed away peacefully last night. He was taken ill whilst with his family in the USA so had his children with him in his last days which was a blessing. Our thoughts are with his family, especially Gaea, Ara and Aeschylus. He was much loved by many of us over here too and I and my family will miss him in so many ways. Godspeed Seth.”

We add our condolences and will be thinking of him and the family.
