Shaun Hall – New Chawan’s for sale for Christmas and New Year!

ShaunHallChawan 2

Great examples of Shaun’s recent work, some of which has been displayed in India as well as the UK! We are showing four examples below which are For Sale at the very reasonable price of £55 each (plus p&p, of course). Have a look, they won’t be around for very long!Raku fired earthstone ceramic heavily reduced in wood shavings, white crackle and cobalt and copper glaze.

Shaun says, “I started making these during a period of ill health last year. They were inspired by trips to the coast and to Wales, so particularly on the
more organic rimmed bowls, there are echoes of landscape crags and shore lines. incised into he clay.  The more “industrial” inspired teabowls
reflect my own small homage to the great potter Robin Welch whose work I have admired for many years, having seen his work in Buckenham Galleries
and often at Art in Clay. They have been enjoyable  and very theraputic to make, a real change from my normal hand constructed work.
A couple of these were featured on a tv programme in India recently called “Houseproud” on Sony Liv channel.
All approx height 12-14 cm x 16 cm wide approx.
