Course Details
Angmering is a pretty Sussex village very near to the South Downs and South Coast.
There is good road access from the nearby A27, a rail connection to London Victoria, and easy travel from Gatwick and Southampton airports.
The workshop will take place at a well-equipped pottery in the village close to shops, pubs and an hotel. We are naturally hoping for good weather so that most of the activities can take place outside but, in the event of inclement weather there is an undercover firing area for the raku kilns and a large workshop.
The cost will include all workshop materials, technical handouts, and an excellent daily lunch Free camping for participants may be available on site.
John Evans will be leading the workshop. His work using alternative raku techniques is widely known in the UK and featured in 'Ceramic Review'.
