Suitable for beginners to those wanting to develop their skills, this 8 week course will introduce you to a variety of handbuilding techniques including pinching, slab building, coiling and press moulding through interesting and engaging projects. 

Surface decoration will also be explored through the application of texture, slips, oxides and glaze. Although techniques are introduced via projects, individual exploration of ideas and designs are welcomed and encouraged! 

The small group allows for lots of individual tuition and creates a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

By the end of the course you will leave with a wonderful collection of handbuilt ceramics, but importantly will have gained a good knowledge and skills base on which to build.
