Explore your personal responses to the landscape of West Dean to develop sculptural forms working with white earthenware. You use drawings, photographs, small models and test pieces to evolve ideas for both shapes, surface decoration and texture. Oxide slips and colour washes are used to create painterly surfaces that add depth and textures to compliment the pieces created. (residential available) |
