Pottery courses CoilingRegular Weekly Classes with Fran Tristram Pottery classes can be chosen from Monday (7-9pm) and Tuesday (10am to 12.noon; 1-3pm or 7-9pm) Tall pots with surface textures - Gordon Cooke at West Dean Create tall elegant monolithic forms in stoneware clays using slab construction with stoneware clays. Surfaces are enhanced with textural detail and coloured slips to give a finish without the use of glazes. Coiling, press-moulding and other techniques are also demonstrated.
