Tall pots with surface textures - Gordon Cooke at West Dean Create tall elegant monolithic forms in stoneware clays using slab construction with stoneware clays. Surfaces are enhanced with textural detail and coloured slips to give a finish without the use of glazes. Coiling, press-moulding and other techniques are also demonstrated.
