About the Gallery

The gallery of Syl and Ray Macro. Syl specialises in ceramic wall panels, vase forms and bowls using a highly original technique of coloured clay assemblage. The inspiration for Syl's work comes from the patterns, textures and colours in the surrounding landscapes. Ray specialises in tall elegant wall lights inspired by the individual character of the growth pattern of mature trees. He has developed a technique of hollow extrusion to achieve these extended forms, which are cut and pierced to create a localised ambience of light.
