Clayworks exists to develop, sustain, and promote an artist-centered
community that provides outstanding artistic, educational, and
collaborative programs in ceramic arts.
WHAT WE DO...teach 24 classes per week; hold exhibitions; rent studio space; sell clay art, and functional pottery; fire gas, electric, and raku kilns; conduct workshops; host visiting artists; provide resources on technical issues and ceramic art health information; grant an annual emerging artist fellowship; and more.
ALSO...Baltimore Clayworks offers gallery and studio tours Monday - Wednesday between 10am - 1pm. The group will walk through our gallery shop, exhibition gallery and community arts gallery then go visit our studio building to tour the classrooms and kiln room.
