Boat form, 50cms long. 2010. This dish has been thrown as a flat disc, stretched and shaped while soft, and then handles made from coils have been added. Slip decoration and a rich, dark, iron glaze finish the piece.

Ceramics by John Calver at Studiopottery.co.uk - Pair of Goblets, 19cms tall. These goblets are decorated with a chrome slip. The glaze, which contains copper, gathers on the spiral stem giving a deep aubergine red.
