Both high fired porcelaine Ceramics by Regina Muller-Huschke at Studiopottery.co.uk - Oct. 2012 _Black Calabash  and her white Clone_, 25cm. Thrown and assembled calabash with dry Barium glaze. Raku fired, reduced to a velvet black with partly reoxided sprinkles.

porcelain, H. 28cm (without the handle of the lid, which is made from nickel-chrom-wire) Thrown , turned on the outside. 
Porcelain and lead -  association to alchemy. In Meisse, Boettger, who was an alchemist,  _reinvented_ porcelain 300 years ago. The recipe, written on a piece of paper,  would fit in the jar. Fired at about 1000°, no heavy postreduction.
The texture and the colour is dull, mattish, and when you look closer, it is like an old rock,

Thrown and handbuilt. Inside black glaze, outside painted a slip-glaze. Fired at 1150° in an electric kiln. After the firing the surface repainted with acrylic colour.

Thrown and handbuilt. Good shades of a dark grey to deep black. The almost shiny

Long and slim velvet black vases.  Thrown in 2 pieces and assembled when still wet.  They loose their menacing blackness and become even very decorative with a single red or white flower. _Tresor modern_ is the name of a beautiful and disturbing industrial ruin - former electricity station - in Berlin. The scratched marks are similar to the signs on the concrete walls and broken pillars of the site. Probably signs for a some technical usage. Thrown and  handbuilt. Fired to 1050°.
