The museum and private collections section is in its infancy. We list just over 100 museums in Britain and elsewhere in the world that we believe have some interesting ceramics in their collections. Currently we do nothing more than sort them by Region (Britain) or Country. We believe it would be of great interest to visitors to be able to see which collections were where, whose work was in each collection and when/whether they could be accessed. Also to see examples of a few key pieces from some major collections would we believe be of great benefit to the Museums, Collectors, Potters and students alike!

Unfortunately this project will take a long time to be assembled as it needs a great deal of time and sponsorship from either one or several museums, or other interested individuals or organisations.

So for now, there is a list of many major museums and we would be delighted to add to this list if any visitor would like to help fill in one or more of the massive gaps that we have.
