The trustees invite applicants to apply for the Annual Grant Scheme. The closing date for the Trust grant scheme is usually 15 December in each year, but applicants should check exact dates with Liz Gale.
The scheme is open to all ceramists, whether or not members of the CPA. The Trust has two main grant schemes; an annual grant scheme in which awards of up to £1,000 in value are made and a £500 bursary scheme for new graduate makers. This marketing co-operative based in Bristol is seeking new ceramics and ceramic sculpture to exhibit in its high profile shop. Its Guest Potter programme involves exhibiting work of selected applicants for a mutually agreed period of 1 or more months. Potters also welcome applications from professional potters, ceramists and sculptors for membership in the co-operative.

With two successful years behind us, we have decided to bring City Showcase: Markets back in 2014. The town of Argentona, near Barcelona, Spain, is going to organize the INTERNATIONAL CERAMICS AND POTTERY FAIR OF ARGENTONA
It is an open air market fair of traditional pottery and artistic ceramics, with a long tradition. It is one of most important ceramic fairs in Spain. Last year it was visited for about 50.000 people from Barcelona and Catalonia. The fair is divided into three sections.
A: traditional and folk pottery
B: artistic ceramics.
C: reproduction of ancient pottery and other (books, institutions, etc.).
Simultaneously, many cultural activities around the world of ceramics are organized: exhibitions of contemporary ceramics, ceramic workshops, Raku firing, pottery demonstrations, games, pottery museum, etc.
All participants are given a table of 2.5 x 1m. with a cover.
About the housing, participants should resolve this issue on their own, although there is the possibility of staying at cheap price in some family houses in Argentona (bed and breakfast) or free in a camping area. The organizers can make the contact between participant and the owners of the houses.
Each participant must pay Euro 150.00 (fair services) + Euro 17,03 (municipal rate of occupancy of the public way) before the fair.

The Big Art Show is taking place this year on 19th and 20th July 2014 in Shrewsbury Shropshire. The show will be on a 55 acre site and will have over 150 exhibiting artists, including ceramicists. My main objective is to provide affordable exhibiting spaces for high end craft designers and artists to sell their work.
So far we have 140 artists exhibiting or screening, we are also having various musicians playing throughout the day including Chris Haigh the fiddle player, as well as artists talking about their work and giving demonstrations which include- Glass blowing, Wood sculpture, Painters, Enamellers, Stone Work, Forge/Metal Artist, and a Tattoo Artist. Animation and film room featuring artists from all over England including work from Duncan Wellarway. Wrexham University are putting on a Photography and Animation Exhibition. Puppetry, and Puppet Work Shops, Adult and children's Work Shops , Living Statues, A Primary school Sculpture Competition of there full size favourite farm animal. plus a many more things which are in the pipe line.
Exhibition spaces –3 m x 3 m if you have your own gazebo/tent £120 for two days, Marquee spaces- 2 m by 2 m. These exhibition spaces will cost £220 which includes 2 x 2 m x 2 m high light green screens, 1 x 2 m long table, An electric hook up, for the two days.
