Gas or electric fired kiln fired to 1060 degºC. I use a tin glaze and Fremington red earthenware clay.I paint oxides onto the Tin glaze in the Maiolica tradition.
I studied ceramics for three years at Epsom art school from 1981 to 1984.
Worked for Alan Caiger-Smith from 1984 to 1993 were I learnt to make and paint Aldermaston designs.
In 1993 I became self employed and now use the old workshop at Aldermaston to produce my own shapes and designs.
Professional Member of the Craft Potters Association of Great Britain.
In 2007 after the closure of The Pottery Aldermaston I will be setting up a new pottery in Yarnton in Oxfordshire
