Wood-fired stoneware, mostly functional.
A downdraft wood-fired kiln is used, with a firing temperature of 1300 deg. C. Most pots are wood-ash glazed, with some 'sang de boeuf' and tenmoku. A wide use is made of local materials for glazes and decoration.
Trained with Seth Cardew as his first student. 25 years experience as a potter working exclusively with wood fired kilns.
