After completing a national award in art and design at South Devon College in 2007,

 I was encouraged to go on to study for a foundation degree in integrated craft.

The course covers textiles, metals, ceramics and woodwork, although my craft background had been mainly textiles and painting, I was immediately drawn to ceramics and began to experiment with making soft moulds for slip casting, I have been developing and perfecting this technique for the past two years.

I use earthenware and porcelain slips, underglaze colours are used to enhance the unique textures of my work.
