History

Jacqui Ramrayka trained at Harrow College, University of Westminster and Graduated in 1994 with a BA(Hons.) in Ceramics. Before embarking on this course she had travelled extensively around South East Asia and the Caribbean and these experiences have had a great influence on her work. She currently works from her studio, a converted railway arch in the East End of London. From here she produces a range of thrown porcelain and stoneware vessels, working in series and making one-off pieces. Her work is multi-fired and multi-glazed, using richly textured and vibrantly coloured oxides and glazes.

She is a Professional Member of the Craft Potters Association of Great Britain
