Current Work
Individual handbuilt sculpture for in/out doors. Coil built in
stoneware. Inspiration comes from fossils, the landscape sea and shore:
also ancient rock carvings of spirals and labyrinths. My work has
always been non-functional and sculptural, but still retaining the
vessel form. I have recently decided to enclose the form completely.

Technical InformationAll work fired to 1260ºC, so fully vitrified and frost proof. The forms are usually carved, and coloured with copper oxide and glaze. HistoryI have a DipAD (ceramics) from Central School of Art and Design London. I have taught; and exhibited widely since then. |
