The ceramic work I create is very texturally based, incorporating vibrant colours that resonate with my cultural heritage.
The surface patterns and texture emulate the interplay of the balance between nature and beauty whilst simultaneously expressing the imperfections and fragility of the world around us.

Individually built one off work, fired in electric kiln at various temperatures. The pieces are decorated with underglazes and oxides.
My assemblages are mixture of ceramic, wood and found/collected objects.
