Chaplin currently produces a range of hand-thrown functional
'soda-glazed pottery' for use in the kitchen, and other individual
vessels for the rest of the home. Technical Information

cu.ft. down-draft gas fired vapour kiln, with twin burners. Max. temp.
1300deg.C. Firing duration is 16-17 hours, 2 days to cool. History
Initially
Trevor trained in Architecture in the 1960's, then as a teacher
specialising in Ceramics and Design (1970-73). His interest in studio
pottery began in the 1960's with frequent visits to the Leach Pottery,
St. Ives. |
