Current Work
The desire to make pots that will be used and a love for decoration has led me to work
within the Majolica tradition. The combination of the rich colour of the red
clay with the glossy whiteness of the tin glaze and the vibrancy of the fired
oxide mixtures provide a sustaining interest for me. Technical Information
Most of my pots are thrown on the wheel, some are press moulded. They are usually turned
to give a foot and visually lift them off the ground. They are biscuit fired to
1000 degrees c and covered with a tin-glaze by dipping. Background History
