The main parts of the website are potters, events and galleries and these are linked together, so that you can move easily between the three:
- looking for potters by name, location by region or country, style of work or by simply browsing through a thumnail image library to select those that you wish to see in depth information about.
- looking for Galleries by name or location
- looking for events by date or location - or by going to Potters or galleries to see what exhibitions or other events they have listed

Exhibitions and Events

Select the events section to see what is currently happening in Studio Ceramics both in Britain and worldwide and what's planned, well into next year.

Full contact details, with linked email address, and in some cases website links, where available, are included for each event. As we list events some time in advance you should always check before visiting.

News

Where possible we give detailed information on large fairs and exhibitions, coverage of auctions and other 'news' items that we think would be of interest. We are selectively adding book reviews. Look at the news section for a summary of the items currently available.

Potters profiles

Increasing numbers of potters (currently about 350) are joining and providing their profile information and images of recent work. The profiles are linked from the events/news pages and not only give images of recent work, but a synopsis of the potters history, contact information, including maps, email and website links where available and a list of galleries where their current work is usually available.

Galleries

Large numbers of Galleries are listed worldwide all of which sell at least some contemporary ceramics. Many Galleries are now providing us with more details and information on ceramicists whose work you might expect to find at their gallery, and are becoming 'Gallery Members' There is a small cost for galleries with a full listing.

The site has been developed and is run by collectors with the primary aim of promoting a wider interest in studio ceramics, by providing up to date and easy to access information about Studio Ceramics. We aim to provide increasingly "seamless" links between potters, galleries and collectors.
The website is updated daily.

Finally, Studiopottery.co.uk Ltd. continues to expand steadily so that it will remain able to continue and extend its promotion of Studio Ceramics and support its members and all ceramicists around the world in the coming years. It is totally independent. Any surpluses are returned by way of Grants and Awards each year. Sponsorship is always welcome.
